The benchmark / 01
The most important reference point as a base.
The benchmark line – exactly one metre above the finished floor – is the line every trade builds on. It exists on every site and stays in place for years. EBEN turns it into a measuring station.
On a dedicated stainless steel plate or as a retrofit on the existing plastic benchmark plate.

Digital V2A EBEN-MARK
The strong stainless steel point stays on the building and keeps the correct height visible. QR and NFC link it to the right plans and measurements. Its fixed mount puts the EBEN Box back in the same place every time. Height, sensor data and records become one clear system.
Variant B · retrofit
Standard benchmark + counter plate
The existing red plate stays. A thin counter plate grips around it, sits on the notch and is screwed in place. Lugs above and below guide the sensor – even on points that have already been surveyed.
Use the existing system
The existing benchmark stays as the unambiguous, cross-trade height reference in the building.
Mount the sensor
The sensor is fixed to the reference point and becomes a permanent measuring station for that area.

Lights. Measures. Connects.
The EBEN Box links existing reference points and infrastructure with precise condition measurement. Climate, motion, light and connectivity are captured right at the known reference point and clearly assigned to each area.
Temperature and humidity are logged continuously – the basis for drying, screed readiness and build status.
Integrated temperature and humidity sensors record the indoor climate at configurable intervals. Drying curves, screed readiness and critical build stages stay fully traceable – with trend charts, threshold alerts and export as an inspection report.
Infrared motion sensors document activity in the work area.
Passive infrared (PIR) sensors detect people in the work area. Active and idle periods are logged automatically – the basis for night-time security, proof of work and anomaly detection.
Modular LED work lighting right at the reference point.
Several LED modules can be built into the EBEN Box and switched as work lighting – bright, even light directly at the benchmark. Controlled manually, via app or automatically on motion. Saves separate site lamps and cabling.
Starlink router and IoT mesh connect every sensor without site infrastructure.
A Starlink router provides internet on site, while the IoT mesh of all EBEN sensors transmits measurement data reliably without dedicated cabling. Video calls, cloud drawings and cloud-based tools work immediately on site.
Built-in rechargeable battery – autonomous, no fixed connection.
A built-in lithium battery powers the sensor autonomously – up to a week depending on configuration. Rechargeable via USB-C or an optional charging pad, with battery level shown in the app. No fixed wiring, no cable clutter.
Connects to EBEN.WHILE software, site apps, Microsoft Office 365, MS Project and more.
An open REST API links all measurement data with EBEN.WHILE software, common construction site apps, Microsoft Office 365 and MS Project. Readings, trends and alerts flow straight into dashboards, reports, schedules, cost plans and custom analyses.
